Here is a perl script that I found on the net that would work much better
than a bash script.
Note:  You do need to intstall the Net::Jabber module.  You can get this
from CPAN.

I would like to locate a Linux command-line Jabber client to utilize in
a bash script.

The intent is to automatically create a jabber user and a JUD entry.
Additionally, would like to confirm both user and JUD entry do not
already exist.

Any help would be appreciated.
